AJISEN RAMEN: When Japan meets Cambodia for lunch

WHERE WE STARTED

THE VIEW BEHIND OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH AJISEN RAMEN

Ajisen Ramen was founded in Kumamoto, Japan in 1968. In 1995, this chain of ramen restaurants was already well known throughout the world, counting over 400 restaurants. The secret behind the success of Ajisen Ramen is its Tonkotsu soup, a wonderful product of traditional Japanese home cooking.  The motto of Ajisen Ramen is “Assuring, Safe and Healthy”, which is in line with our ethical purpose as HGB Group, and this is the main reason why we started this partnership.
Experiencing Japanese cuisine, tasting what has been named “The King of White Soup”, is a way to understand a different culture and enrich our own. Moreover, the soup is known to prevent aging, which is definitely a good thing for everyone who wants to live their life better, starting from a good lunch.

OUR GOALS

ALL THE AJISEN RAMEN RESTAURANTS WE OPENED IN CAMBODIA

Since we have started our collaboration with Ajisen Ramen, we planned to open at least two restaurants in Phnom Penh - and so we did. We inaugurated the first restaurant in October 2014, hiring 47 people, then in May 2018 we opened the second one which counts 38 employees.
We are now happy to say that this business is growing faster than we expected, so we are thinking about a new opening. We do believe that this cooperation will help our country and the people who live in it, more and more in the future, this is why we are willing to invest in this direction, planning to create new job opportunities and a more confident view about the future of Cambodia.
