LITTLE SHEEP: a taste of Mongolian culture in Cambodia

WHERE WE STARTED

THE VIEW BEHIND OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH LITTLE SHEEP

Little Sheep is a famous chain of hot pot restaurants, whose mission is inviting people to approach Mongolian culture and food in China, Japan, North America, Canada and now Cambodia. We decided to take the opportunity to open four restaurants in our country, to introduce our people through  Mongolian culture through its tasty cuisine. The peculiarity of Little Sheep restaurants is that food is served inside a hot metal pot.
This hot pot is the center of the Mongolian gastronomic experience and finds its origin back in history. In fact, Mongolian horsemen used to fill their helmets with water and warm them up on embers, adding meat and herbs to the broth. It’s a Mongolian tradition that should be preserved, and we are glad that our people can live this experience with their family and friends in their own country.

OUR GOALS

ALL THE LITTLE SHEEP RESTAURANTS WE OPENED IN CAMBODIA

The four restaurants we planned to open in Cambodia in 2017 and 2018 are all located in Phnom Penh. This dream began in September 2017, when we opened the first restaurant, which now counts 84 employees. Then in May 2018, we opened a second restaurant inside the Aeon Mall, which has 54 employees at the moment. In September 2018 we opened up our third restaurant, hiring 89 employees, and we are now ready to open the fourth in January 2019.
All these restaurants are growing fast and the business turnover is increasing, creating new job opportunities that will help our country develop. We are extremely proud to work with Little Sheep, and give our people something they love and that makes their life happier. We are confident that this cooperation will increase in the future, for the benefit of both parties.
